An 88-year-old patient after nephrectomy on the left side many years ago with a chronic tumour of the inferior pole of the right kidney and renal congestion (grade I) was admitted for intestinal resection due to volvulus. Renal function is still sufficient.
CT scans in arterial and venous phase (renal parenchyma shows better contrast during venous phase) reveal a tumour in the inferior pole dorsally and small cysts:
